Dreams are things we always hope and pray would come true. We work so hard to reach them and when we finally get there, you feel like your on the top of the world. Well this week, I made the drumline and boy that was a big answer to prayer.
When I was starting middle school, I joined the band. I had to think of what I wanted to play. Now at the time I had just moved into a neighborhood that was very close to Gulf Coast and I could always hear the band practice. But what really caught my ear were the drums. I had instantly figured out..."THAT"S WHAT I WANT TO PLAY!" Now everyone has this fantasy of playing the drums but this was a different feeling. I had this calling from God that I could somehow use this talent that he would give me. I'm not even sure quit yet if I know what that is. But I went into that band room when we were getting our assigned instrument and I was going to do anything and everything to be a percussionist. God willingly...I DID! For the next three years, I worked soooo hard because I knew that someday I would have this amazing opportunity to be in the Gulf Coast High School Marching Band. So once the time came, I grew more nervous everyday. I prayed really hard for God to let it be His will. Few days later, I made drumline!
In anything and everything...go to God!

just wanted to let you know that I smiled pretty big when I read this.
I love to hear that people care a lot about drumline.
that's the kind of person I want to leave the line to.
someone who cares and wants to make the line the best we can be.
